MY Gf is not into fish or my guitars for that matter but she respects something that I like. In return I support her pottery stuff and even go to some shows with her. It should be o.k. to enjoy something that your sig. other is not really into. I really would not move a bunch of tanks into her house if your not in your own backyard, go for the ring on the finger first.
-Can't really put a ring on her finger until I graduate and get a good paying job so I know that I can actually support her during our marriage. I don't want it to be a marriage where she has a teaching job and I am still in school trying to get my MS in Psych for 2+ years.
-The funny thing is she absolutely loves Blood Parrots!
-My gf would also much rather me sit on the couch watching TV than maintaing my aquariums(cleaning, rearranging, etc.)
-I just solved a big problem yesterday by selling the fish f/m 2 tanks in the basement, shutting those down, and moving my 20 up into my room. She feels much better now that there arent 15+ appliances plugged into one outlet
Thats the only reason I can't put all of the aquariums in one room which I really badly want to do, not enough outlets
-All of my breeding aquariums are setup very nicely and are not bare bottomed like a more "professional" breeding tank would be. They all look very appealing and have beautiful black backgrounds (she actually loves these
Show her Dario dario, they will make anyone weak at the knees. Small, gorgeous colors, big personality. Puffers, especially dwarf puffers, should do the trick.
finally looked at some dario dario pics and they look pretty nice. I talked her into letting me setup a 125 adjacent to my 110 and I sold my 46gal and shut down my 2 10 gallons. now I'll just have a 125, 110, 72 & 20gal. until I get lots of fry........I currently have a pseudotropheus polit that is holding so it will be a couple of weeks until she releases
