i put them in a plastic bad and wack them on the floor. it seems cruel but its instant and painless

Yeah i do that but once i done it to a tinfoil barb and he was big i give him the biggest bash on the floor i went to put him in the bin and he started flapping in the bag the git was still alive so i done it again and since then ive not tried it.
