If you really feel that strongly you shouldn't have anything other than a betta.

Mine is not really as aggressive like everyone said. I keep mine with asians and the jar is not even doing anything. My asian green and rtg are even more aggressive than my jar. In my personal experience green and rtg are more aggressive than jars. Not many people in the US keep asian aro that's why they don't know that they become killers too.

If they were legal here.... everyone would get them... But the stupid policy here prevents us from getting any...

It's stupid we can keep other aros but they outlaw the asians.

yeah i think asians are just as bad as jars...no different. havent seen any aggression from the RTG since he still too small =P but we'll see..

i only kept 1 x jar in my long 20yrs of aro keeping

i feel if you mix any aro with different smaller fish from young they wont kill or eat them

i keep 18inch reds and xbacks with 4inch thin bars and NGT tigers they show no interest in them at all at feeding time the aros let the small tigers in on the food

i have kept a larger aro with no other fish for ages as soon as i put a smaller fish in the tank the aro would attack chew the fish killing it with his bonny tongue then spit it out

i don't know about giving the aros more space to cut down on the aggression i find its the opposite less space less aggression with no space for Territory's

Jars are more agressive than Asians...Asian agressive aros are the greens and rtg's....

They all kill by harasssment. endless harassment.
