Jars are more agressive than Asians...Asian agressive aros are the greens and rtg's....

They all kill by harasssment. endless harassment.

It actually depend on individual. Some jars are killers, some not. Same goes with asian aros. If an asian or jar is keep in a tank by itself it will likely become agrresive to the point that will kill any of it's tank mates or anything that being introduced, unless it can defend for itselft. Same thing with silver and blacks but it happened rarely. I also found out that an aro that being keep with non aros also becomes aggresive when it grow. However when keep with other aros they become less aggrsive even jars.

I have an experment of 8 jars before and only 2 of them became killers and the rest were not. I sold the remaining the rest and kept the best looking one.

Here is the jar that I have right now. The pic that being show of the jar is 14". The jar is now 20" and I have it in my tank along with my other fish for 2 years now.

i agree because my uncle had an asian arow community he had Gold head XB,super red, green, jardini they were all older then 8 years and they never attacked each other thats what my uncle says i bet hes lieing lol,i was just a lil kid haha plus currently i have a black, silver, african, and jar together no fights

my jar 4-5" is with my silver 21" with a divider obviously, when I dropped a live feeder molly 2" which is large enough that my jar cant fit it in its mouth. It constantly attacked it by repeated biting until the molly was dead. I think mine started its aggression at an early age already.

That's different, that's just aggressively hungry.

I have a lot of Aros and have had them for years.

I did not mean all are killers. I have all kinds of aros with other fish.

It is the new additions to the tank that tend to get killed.

And, again, when agressive, the list starts with Jars, followed br greens and RTG's

It all good man. What I was mainly unsure of is HOW they go about killing when they are a killer.

When it comes to size+aggresion and in the long run. RTG or Green would come first, as most jars stay at 20-25 inches and don't seems to bother a 30" aro. But then again it all comes to individual. We can't really decide which one is which as most aros are unpredictable sometimes when it comes to aggresion.:D

Q:How do jars kill other fish?
A: If the fish is small, it will just swallow it whole.
If it's big it will continue to harrass the other fish.
