How do people keep their CK's?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
@warman they all grew up together and the rtc only aet chicken fillets, but the ck is up for adoption and will be gone soon then there another six that I have to sell for another guy.you see here where I am I run a fish adoption effort and go and collect fish from people who's fish are getting to big for there tanks
and place in quarentine for two weeks and then find homes for them with people who's tanks are suitable to host monster fish in

Here's a pic of the ck

This is an old pic he was 11 in when I got him close to a month ago now. I got a few more longer plants and he likes to hang out in them. When I do give him a few feeders it is cool watching him perch up in them and go it to pred mode. Sorry I don't have newer or better pics. I'm getting an arro next Thursday that one day will be a tank mate but seeing as my clown ate a bichir I'm going to grow him out a little first.lol

I keep my rcks tanks pretty sparce, 5 live plants and one large fake on, havnt had much time to dabble and take pics as I have a newborn son who takes up most my spare time now. I will be sure to revisit this thread next time I upload pictures onto my tablet. Funny thing is, my knifefish is about the same size as my son lol ill try to get a pic of both of them in one shot for comparison

I posted a couple pics in another thread, but here they are again. I know he needs a bigger tank, and I hope I can afford one or maybe even build one in a year or two. Right now it is just the CK @ 22 in and pleco 16-17in ( not sure if it is common or not), in my 120. I have some Java moss driftwood and a couple peices of slate in there for hiding. I will likely remove the slate soon as he is too big to use it for hiding.
