Well apparently manlyfish has herpes...

But I have a Garter Snake, a Kenyan Sand Boa, an Asian Bullfrog, 2 Firebelly Toads, a Green Tree Frog, a Leopard Gecko, a Green Anole, a Longtail Grass Lizard, 7 Newts, plus my fish. In a small room, it must seem awfuly claustrophobic to an outsider :D
My room makes people feel claustrophobic, I have my central american boa, ball python, hypo corn snake, RES, crestie, and Bosc in my room and some fish. I plan on getting more, dad said no more fish never said anything about reps.

we dont have many visitors.. but those who do come over really like my herps. because they are all turtlesand frogs. one lady was scared of my leopard gecko, but other than that... oh yeah and y grandmother was fascinated with my old watersnake. she wasnt scared but didnt get too close. then i told her it was a copperhead and said it was one of the most venomous snakes in the world... she didnt like that. after i told i was kiddind she hit me in the head with her purse.

"oh, thats cool" is about all i get for my rosy boa, flying gecko, anoles, and fence lizard.

...i need something more impressive.

if someone is coming over to my place, they are probably going to love reptiles. Most of my friends work at the zoo or keep lots of snakes themselves. My tarantulas scare a few people though.

Despite my apartment specifically asking in the flier (but not the lease) not to keep venomous, the maintenance guys love the cobras. One of them even brought his daughter over to see them and then left a hibiscus plant for my iguana. So for the most part, everyone loves my beasts.

LOL Snakeguy I'm trying to imagine my aunt at your place. If she had to hide behind an 11 year old when I take out a 3" Rice Frog, I can't imagine a Cobra...

I am continuously amazed at the people that are afraid of snakes. I don't find that many people that have a serious fear of lizards, but snakes...ohhh boy. I was at Petco one time, right near the front doors. This lady walks in, walks straight to the cash register, and rattles off a list of things that she needs...she tells the cashier she won't take a step further into the store because she knows they have snakes. She was also muttering that they shouldn't carry snakes because of how many people have a phobia of them. Geesh...grow a pair...

they walk back out or just generally dont come in.
because all my snakes r down either side of my dining room which u need to walk through to get to the kitchen, people walk dead down the middle.

my friend is brazillian and understandably scared of snakes, and he cousing has just come over to stay for a while. the other day they came round and she wouldnt take her eyes off the burms viv, so i asked if she wanted him to come out?
lol she said no, the reason she was staring was so she could make sure it was still in there haha.

Most of my friends like coming over. My 3 year old goddaughter is utterly entranced by my aquariums and fish (she once spent 45 minutes straight staring at and talking to the fish in my 125g aquarium). Ever since I got my ball python, she begs me to get it out so she can see it and pet it as soon as she comes over. I wonder what she'll think of the rhino iguana I'm going to be getting soon?

My mom, who is completely terrified of spiders, reached into the ball python tank and picked it right up. She and my fiance both think snakes and other reptiles are really cool :).

i have 2 columbian boas, suriname boa, nicaraguan boa, pure jungle carpet python, desert kingsnake, spider ball python, pinstripe ball python, an increased melanin ball (she is in the ball python book :)), leopard gecko, a sugar glider, and a hedgehog. for now :) want to add a hypo bull snake, a pastel ball, banded kingsnake, and possibly a yellow conda... and prob more boas... building a big rack so i am goin to have bins that need to be filed :)
