how do you change water?

I use the uber bucket method too. :D
Having 4 tanks and doing water changes twice a week can be a pain, but I don't mind.
I love my babies. :D

I guess you can use the old bucket system for smaller tanks but having large multiple tanks it just would not be ideal and you would also be visiting your chiropractor alot. great system pacu mom. Bud8fan I would also quit if I had to use buckets or be taking alot of emergency room visits.

i used to use an old rei-sea pump mounted to a cart with a hose and reel to drain and then fill each of my tanks. it was easier since all my tanks used to be in different locations of the house. now i drip my tanks and have the rei-sea pump permanently mounted and attached to the drip overflow in case of emergency water changes/removal.

that's cool! my friend was telling me to make something like that with a extra little giant pump that I have.

Drip system FTW.

i have a "small" 75g and 10g tank i go with bucket method :)

I use a gravel vac to clean the gravel before I use a Python to drain & fill up the tank. The gravel vac is easier to get around the decor in the tank. I use the aquarium water I siphoned out into a bucket to rinse out the filter media.
