o i forgot i didnt post my worst spill. once i used my favorite drinking cup to do a 3 gallon water change only. the cup fell to the bottom of the tank and i was like i aint using another cup because i only use my favorite cup only. i tryed to climb into the tank to get it but i had one leg in the tank and i fell backwards ripping the front glass off. i was electrocuted and found unconscious because i hit my head and all the water fell out of my 300g tall.

Python from the tank to the laundry sink, and from the well to the sink to the python to the tank. Worst spill ? Had nothing to do with filling or draining ... well maybe draining, always wanted that tank emptied.

90gal. tank twice, in two weeks, on a failed and re-failed reseal.

I have my 240 gallon on a constant drip, with an overflow plumbed into the household waste water.

Thats what I want to set up. Do you use a filter or chemicals to treat the water?

Last night was a great spill. Fillin up my 75 I was topping it off when I tipped a 5 gallon bucket over and had about 2 gallons on my floor. The last bucket really?!? Then I had finished up wc on all the tanks and I was feeding my cat in the 29 and half of the container fell in my freshly changed tank. It was time for bed.

I have used a python forever, it's a life saver! Does anyone else have a python with black stuff in the hose?? Guess i may need to replace it. My worst spill was when a hose came off my 2213... whoops! Lol

i use 5 gal water holders like the 1s u put on the machiene in an office 1 5 G stands with water for 2 days before den i syphon out 5 gs of water with the other bucket thingy = )

O worst spill i 4got that i was syphoning and instead of 5 gs i probably got 10

I siphon water into a trash can that has a sump pump in it. That moves the water to the basement's floor drain/sump hole.

For refilling, I run a 150 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank with a styro lid, 1200 watts of heaters in it, and a pump that connects to the hose from the Python system I used to use..

Worst spill was maybe 3 gallons when I had the end of the Python hose looped over a doorknob and forgot to flip the valve closed before turning on the pump at the other end. Sprayed the wall, ceiling, etc..

Gravel Cleaner and 3g Stainless steel pot (my wife didn't want it anymore)
run back and forth between the bathtub and tank..
Fill the pot and pour it back in...

I would like to find info on a drip system for future plans..
any link would be great...
