I need to clean the overflow box on my 585 but it is caked in this salt/algea. I have tried the good old vinegar and water. With a little elbow grease on the side. But to no real results. I was wondering if there was an easier way to clean this crap.

The box is glass with sheets blue acylic (I think) covering the glass. I cannont remove it b/c the box if firmly siliconed to the tank wall.

PLZ let there be an easrier way to clean this.

Bleach in a fish tank??:screwy::grinno:

Vinegar and water with a scraper should get it off..

For hard stains I use bleach, but I make sure to rinse it over and over and over...and then over again to make sure. I haven't lost a fish in any of those tanks :D

:ROFL: It is way too early to be that drunk. You must have either gone straight to the hard stuff or the recreational stuff. :ROFL:
