Get lots of good photos ;-) Even paying for professional shots would be cheaper than taxidermist.Interesting topic. Would have helped when I lost my first flowerhorn 6 months back or so...my first fish also.
Normally I flush my dead fish...however, I burried him in the park. I am now thinking how it might be taking it to a taxidermist.... both of my current male flowerhorns, are probably in the top 10 in Australia... they cost me a fortune... I would not want their looks to go away...

I guess if somebody wants that...The fish I do are total cast and pour reproductions and look very real. Im not too sure how a Dempsey or some other mid sized SA would look but a full grown cichla or maybe even a ray would look cool mounted
