how do you get the rare stuff

how do you guys get boesemani's and other rare rays its not something you can just buy on aquabid or any other commercial vendor or any hobbyist for that matter

Connections, buying off different people and developing a friendship then when they hear something they let you know.

Nobody has Boesemani.

IF they ever did become available be prepared to send $1K+ per ray at the drop of a hat, as they aren't gonna be available for long.

Be prepared to import from Canada or have your ducks in a row in regards to a transhipper.

Nothing but a bunch of con artists on Aquabid, be VERY carefull who you deal with on there.....

Very hard to find...connections. Pics/video and ask around concerning reputation. If you find one for 1k you better jump faster than a cat in a fryin pan. lol

Boesemani will cost alot more than $1000 now . They come from Suriname very expensive flights and very far away from anywhere major flights come in. Also heard theirs mining projects on the river in Suriname and they have closed fishing . I've had a serious guys offer $3500 for mine.


Last xingu sp ray sold for $5300

The ray is just the new kid on the block that's the only reason prices are high

They are not my cup of tea but that's probably because I'm a black ray guy but people who like brown rays are having kittens over it just like they did when pearl first hit the market now look at the prices of a pearl now they are cheaper than a good marble

A smart exporter would have a tub full of the waiting for the hype to get as big as poss all with the price then let a few go and make dollars

As someone knows the collection point and it's ether very hard to get to or they are keeping it secret until the time is right

Frank and Nico had a tank full of them to they can be found
