Frank and nico no longer have any boesemani, who knows what happened to them.
My boese has more solid dark black on it than most of my black rays I don't know if a boese is a brown ray?

Even if they don't have them anymore are these guys Breeders in Europe???Did they collect them originally or did they buy from importers??

Boesemani only came in from one source in 2008ish in Germany .
It's not a ray you'll likely see one day unless somebody breeds them and sells pups or somebody finds a source in Suriname and would have to order alot to make it even worth it. I predict next time they are offered from exporter their will have to be a big order done for them ,which is good because the price won't be too bad but they won't be as rare.
You can't compare them to pearls . Pearls come from an area of brazil that gets heavily fished ornamentally and they always available . Suriname is not just a boat ride away. Look on the map and see how remote Suriname is. Is a territory in the northern most part of south America . Above the equator. I bet it's really hot their too .

Jeff Rapps imports from there on a regular basis if I'm not mistaken. We know He was the man when it came to Marbles.

I didn't think I'd ever have Falkneri....... So I think anything is possible.

IF the demand is there then we should see them eventually. With more and more captive breeding going on WC rays are loosing thier appeal. IF noone's captive breeding them then there's more demand.

im sure they can be found if the demand is very high and the price is right at the moment you are only talking about a handful of people who want them bad is that worth the long treck it may take to get to the location to fish them then treck back with loads of polyboxes im not sure

i would class them as a brown ray nothing wrong with a brown ray dont take it as im putting them down by classing them as a brown ray but they are at the same high price a high grade pearl was a few years back

i think frank and nico sold them all and one was to justin hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhre in the UK which was for sale a few months back

if teye do breed like brown rays and the litter sizes are same as pearl or motoro then it only takes a few hundred to put on the market then a few years and they will all be breeding

If you have the cash available and not trying to find a deal then you can get just about anything you want. I am sure some of the long time vendors can find what you want but you would have to entice them with cash. Sharkaquarium had some lower grade falkneri last year for cheap but I was told he is not planning on bringing anymore in. I bet you offer a vendor cash up front to help cover his costs and line his pockets you could get one. The one thing you can't do is want a $3500 ray and offer $1500 LOL
