Suriname is a decent sized country ! I did notice rapps had Suriname cichlids asked a long time ago about boese rays they must come from a different locality or something. I've also read literature on motoros from Suriname being heavily spotted but no pics ? Possibly boese rays or their prob is some pretty nice marbles their also

If this is another deal where the US gets left out I will have to stay away from MFK from Sept till December.
Sick and tired of not having access to all the nice stuff you guys do, or getting ripped off thinking that we might actually get our hands on some of the crazy rays.... Like Thai Marbles.

I talked with a vendor about 2 1/2 years ago about getting falkneri in the US and he told me that he has seen them available but the problem was he had to make a $10K first time order and since that area did not have many types of fish that people wanted he would not do it. If this was true then I do not blame him. I would be worried to death about having that much money in stock and risk it either dieing or no one buying it. This also could be the reason we never see the rare stuff for sale because if a vendor was going to risk it, it would be paid for in advance and the internet world would never know about it because they would only bring in what was sold.
Yes this is true Argentina and Suriname both do not have many fish that are popular compared to brazil this is why I'm saying you cannot compare pearl rays to boese rays.
Db falks have been available by many people over the years. Do a google search . I have contacted exporters in Argentina about falkneri . They have pictures of them on their sites but have a minimum limit dollar value per order which was too high just to order a few rays. Falkneri aren't that rare infact they are not rare at all since they are scientifically the same thing as castexti jags, otorongo ect... Just with a nicer pattern

They're no different then those fancy Motoros people call Boesemani. Maybe they'll be reclassified soon....
In a few years Boesemani will be the new Falks...... Then they'll just be nice Motoros.
