jerk off? quit trippin

how is saying "monkeys don't sign" a play on words?? lol, do you know what it means to play on words?

chimps and gorillas are not monkeys. so how did I play with any words. don't be mad at me for using proper terms. should I not do that around here?

I found this doing a search

If you are talking about a monkey with a tail...most likely not.

all but one species of monkeys (if not two species) have a tail. that's one of the main differences between monkeys and apes.

it is a common mistake to call chimps, gorillas, bonobos and orangutans monkeys

I had just forgotten how common it was and that's why this discussion started because eddie and rock wasn't using the term correctly. not my fault

i made it pretty clear. i never used the word primate. i repeatedly said monkey

after i said i don't believe monkeys can sign

you then responded with "did you see the cgi ones sign in the movie?"

which proves you were referring to the apes in the movie as "monkeys"

it's ok bro, it's a common mistake. you're not the only one

btw, you've also used the word "primate" incorrectly

both monkeys and apes are primates. so to say something like "they're getting primates and teaching them sign language,....." is incorrect

because they are not getting "primates" and teaching them to sign. they are getting "apes" and teaching them to sign.

Rant all you want, I specifically was asking if you were trying to trick rock on the term monkey. Its blatantly obvious that I keyed in on the word and broaden the scope but keep trying to make yourself look smart by ignoring it

In the movie they repeatedly mention that monkeys were not apes so don't give me no bs about the movie either. Heck I went as far as pointing out they weren't real too
