Man, photographing these goons is HARD.
I couldn't get her royal highness to cooperate, so you'll just have to settle for the males (and the oscar) I guess. ~shrug~ I know they're not much to look at, but I sure don't want to bother hauling her unruly butt out of the water. Maybe some of you will remember the pic of her side by side with the male with the hump from my OMG spawn thread. I'll try again later!!

Rulers for everyone! Keep those pics coming, guys! Here's another shot, sorry for the weird reflections in their eyes. :O But here she is hovering next to the two males, so you can extrapolate based on the previous pic.

How come some Cichlas have the bumps on their head and some don't?

The bump is called a nuchal hump (you may see flowerhorn keepers calling them koks). It contains water and fat, and can be inflated or deflated depending on the fish's nutritional and SOCIAL status! Usually dominant males have the largest. Females and subordinate males may show it a little as well if they are well fed.
