I have not tried it with rays but I found some sharks are react to being on their backs differently. It almost dose not work at all on my broad nose 7 gill but works great on my lemon shark. I have not tried it on my black tip cause he is just too high strung. I would be curious to see how it works on both fresh and saltwater rays.

Hey, you said he had a double stinger. Was it a legit double or just the regrowth coming in. Reason I ask is that my male Flower came in with two large stingers and that was over four weeks ago and hasn't shed one. I know Ross says rays can have two and even three stingers. So I was hoping he has a double stinger.
