How do you spend the evening with your Rays???

I don't think there is any workable substitute to actually knowing the behavior of and spending quality time with your rays.
 
He is doing really good. By the next day you would of never know this had happened. His behavior hasn't change and he still has a big appetite so I guess all is good.

That's great! I've been scared that this could happen to our rays some time. It's good to know that they can be none the worse for the wear.
 
Wow, very nice treatement ! I was not aware of the danger in leaving fallen stings in the tank (at least not for the stingrays in it).

I wasn't worried...I knew he'd be ok. You gotta take care of that guy because there are very few of us in the States with Aparicios!

On a side note... your avatar freaks me out....... you look like a cross between Samuel Jackson from Pulp Fiction and Peter North!Two dudes that can do damage with their "pistol"!

He really does look like he's waiting at the glass for you to help in the first pic. Do you think he tried to nibble at it or just happened to swim over it at the exact wrong angle? Hope he makes a full and uneventful recovery, but it sounds as if you've got it under control. Lovely ray.

Since the stingers are curved I would bet the another ray was on the blunt end cause the sharp end to stick up. He just happened to be swimming over the top and swam right into it. Not sure if that is what happened but doesn't sound to far fetched in my mind.
