How dumb are some fish keepers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I gotta agree with hellman on this. We know some respectful fishkeepers in the albany area but there are twice as many who know nothing. I'm selling a F1 grammodes and the guy said $25 is a straight ripoff along with my isletas I'm selling for $20. Both fish are 6 inches and look very nice. Most of the fish I sell I sell for less than I paid for them. I've had people tell me that grammodes are among the most ugly fish, and that red isletas are worth as much as a red devil you would get from petsmart. If you check the cl for our area you will also see that people want high prices for used tank. I lowered the price of both my fish and the guy posted that he bought fish from me before and called me some let's say banned language on here. Id rather give my fish away then sell to some people

I guess tanks are overpriced all over but u never see great deals on tanks here unless they have issues.

I wouldn't trade a goldfish for a Lyonsi. BORING.
See how I did that? My personal preference? Everyone can do it!
Duh, you don't have to take the offer, and why bash him?
Shrewd negotiation is not always hard to do, but it does take intelligence.

This sight needs a bash box. Time out for non-constructive rant threads that are mean spirited...I say 6 months...no thread starting or responding.

^ oh the irony

I really think it would be more a worth thing, no matter what our taste in fish might be they usually have some sort of actual monetary value that is somewhat universal. I personally don't know how much 5" lyonsi's are or the value of a blood parrot that size. But i believe that monetary value is what should be considered to determine whether your getting ripped off or not and whether to rant about it.
