I don't remember exactly but they are the fastest growing fish I have ever had the pleasure of keeping.It should hit six inches in about two months with proper care.
Well,I started mine on guppies then rosey red minnows and goldfish.I later got them onto freeze dried krill and raw fish fillet.I'll be honest but I have not big on checking the parameters in my tanks for a few years now.I'm pretty certain the water is around neutral though and my current is just what the sump return and canister filters provide...My big boy is about three years old and about fifteen inches now....never skittish and has never bashed his snout on the panels.
I've had my 2 inchers for about a week and they've already shown size increase. I have them in a 30g atm and change 50% twice a week. They're only guppies and roseys for now. But at 4" I'll start filet training. That will most likely be around another month or so.
