I wasn't implying you weren't caring for it properly. I've never thought that about you, IF I did I wouldn't hope to some day get my Brycon to you.
Mine hit that 15" in a 180. Everyone I knew that kept them back when I did hit a foot the first year.
Yours is an exceptionally slow grower, no way around it. Didn't say that was a bad thing, but for others to think that is typical growth and plan around it would be silly.
was thinking about putting a lil guy in a 75 for a few months and see what i could do about a 6x4 or 8x4 plywood in the garage since the house cant handle it
Mine is in a 180 now and it's been there for the past few years.I do a water change once a month which might have something to do with his size....I plan to move him to my 265 soon.
Mine went from 3 to about 12 inches in a year .... now about 15 inches in just under a year and a half ..... def one of my faster growing fish, but he's kind of stuck right now, prob cause my catfish has been playing with him, and not very nicely ... mine has eaten massivore pellets since I got him at 3 inches, with pH around 6.6, and lots of current
