How frequent do you do water changes ?

If i overdo a bit you can see the rays get a bit stressed out.. after an hour is when i see the difference . :cheers:

me too. The wife gets mad because i keep the tanks so clean but i sometimes "forget" to help out with chores. :omg:
 
Hi guys,

i change at between 70-80% at least once a week my tanks, but if i catch my rays feeling unstable and stress out, i immediately do about 60-80% water change.

So i would say for my ray + discus tank i do about twice a week water change, and for my aro+st tank i do once a week water change.

yes and they do love it after a water change, they get back to stable and eat alot and very active.
 
I do 25% every 3-4 days on all my tanks. And about 20% on my pond every week. 8ft Pearls of Paradise is no joke. Freakkin 800 gallons. The 300 gal Rubbermaind is like nothing compared to it. Here's the crazy part, I use 5 gallon buckets for all my water changes. It keeps me in shape. LOL
 
I do 20 - 30% twice a week. Not scheduled, just when the mood strikes me. Which is fairly often...
