How hard are dats to find

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a $ is very hard to find hear in the UK but easy in the US it all depends on your location :D

Today I went to the lfs and much to my surprise they had a very large widebar. It had to be every bit of 18 inches if slightly bigger. It is not officially for sale, but when I enquired they said they would take 800.00 to 1000.00 for it. It is located in Randallstown, Md. The fish looked to be in great shape and is apparently eating pellets. It is very easy to miss the fish because they have it in their pond section along with a large RTC. I would have loved to seen that fish in a 180. It is currently in a rectangular shaped pond/box thing (no side view). They told me it was 15 years old.

When you said that there are no prices on the tanks and that the guy was not very friendly, one place came to mind.It must be Yoo Longs, the store has moved to another location as it now seems to be in the basement of another store but it has stairs on the outside leading down into it.He will warm up a little once he sees you a few times but then he seems to have only fish ,no supplies and an obsession with green terrors and parrots so numerous visits arent really feasible.I didnt see any dats the last time I was there.

Do you know what street that is on? It has been several years since I have been there. Last time I went I couldn't find it. It wasn't in a basement then. It was at street level.

It would be hard to take a picture because of the enclosure it was in. You can only see them from the top down. One of the workers was nice enough to stick his hand in there and move it so you could see it. He said the fish liked to be petted. I am not so sure about that. But the fish seemed to be very calm and not too concerned about being petted.

that had to be a site. biggest one i have seen in the LFS is about 6". it was a IT for $75. someone had a hold on it for like a month. everytime i went in there i told the guy i would give him a $100 for it but he said the kid that has him on hold is a good kid and he can't do it.
