Our government decided to start letting garden centres open again. This is great news for me on two fronts. Not only can I go and stock up on plants for my garden but I can go to my favourite fish store, which is in the actual garden centre.

I was pottering about in the garden yesterday, I built a flat packed shed that came a couple of months ago, i've been waiting for some nice weather to build it. I like sheds. Below are pictures of my two current sheds. The top picture is the one I built yesterday, the other one I built last year.

My missus says, "no more sheds now, that's enough".

It's funny that, i've heard her come out with that phrase many a time before, I can't quite think what it was regarding now. :grinyes:

Oops, I jumped the gun with under 8,000 cases.
Here is part of todays report.

That's one case in every thousand people, so not unlikely. I thought Panama only had a million people or so.
They've been busy.

Mine is begging me to get the new shed underway, so I will quit using hers LOL.
It's tough putting my welding tanks in a shed with stained glass ornaments and geegaws.

Well, mainly it's tough because she won't let me!

I guess I’ve lost my calculating abilities because it’s actually two cases in every thousand people.

Tomorrow my state ends its official "state of emergency". We can now visit other peoples houses and a few more restrictions lifted. Schools still closed and we still have to work from home but a bit more freedom and if it all goes well their will be more restrictions lifted 1st June. They are being very cautious which is a bit frustrating, I was hoping gyms and libraries would reopen too, I guess it's better to be cautious than have a new outbreak in a few months time and be back to square one.

Lots of people at my Lowe’s that do not know what a mask or 6 feet apart means.

Now we have dropped our restriction level a bit its getting a bit silly out there.
I did a grocery run yesterday afternoon and the supermarket was as busy as it normally is at Christmas.
Social distancing was ignored, everyone yelling at the cashiers, no masks but no one really got into wearing masks here, official advice is not to for whatever reason. I stood back and wondered how long until the second wave hits, we have done very well here but people don't seem to realise how lucky we have been and how easilyand quicly it can all go back to square one again

Looks like our stay at home order expires Monday and some places will be opening back up with restrictions. Example: Only 50% capacity allowed. People will be allowed to gather with the 10 or less rule being advised.
More business will open June first. Bars and hair salons being among those.
