How exactly do they know how far away you are from home?
Phone GPS I would guess, address on his ID card, since they have lots of police and military check points, or so the news showed.

That's right, there's checkpoints around, more at the state borders or outskirts of Melbourne as the country areas don't have such strict restrictions but there's a few around the city areas also the police can just check your license plate when you are driving and as it will show your address on your records they will know if you are too far from home.
This is all really unprecedented for us, I know it's necessary but it seems a bit heavy handed too. As always if the minority of fools had followed the more chilled rules to begin with we wouldn't have to worry about these hardcore rules now.

I was watching some videos out of the Philippines and they’re doing the same thing with restricting peoples movements and locking them down With military checkpoints.

So far I haven’t seen anything like that here.

But restaurants are not open for indoor dining, barbershops and beauty salons are closed, and a whole lot of other things that people don’t think about too much until they need them.

Caused me to quit my job as a sous chef because the stress wasn't worth it anymore. Got a part time gig at a LFS. Actually happy again

Lol, you shouldn't have said that. Anyone on here anywhere near your store will besiege you in want of reduced goodies.

PS. Can you PM me the address, and what hours you work, lol.

Lol I can't give the deals, I'm still the small fish there lol!

My new green phantom pleco took this social distancing thing to the extreme, I’ve had him for several weeks and forgot he even existed until a few minutes ago when I remembered I got him, then found him hiding behind a big sponge filter. I don’t know how he’s survived on only blood worms but he’s getting pellets again now that I remember that he’s in the tank lol. Tiny little guy I tell you what.

Sadly, this pandemic has turned me into a scraper and salvage expert. Too many people in my community are throwing away machines that just need a little know how to fix and be able to bring back to life. Their loss has been my gain.

Its sad that not only are we facing a pandemic but here stateside we are facing a purge.

Yay some of school going to start soon. Nope, someone got corona so now it’ll be remote. During this pandemic I turned to fishing as a fun activity because it’s fun and kills a lot of time.

My daughter is trying to figure out how she’s going to teach third grade at a distance.

They started talking about distance-learning in 1960 as soon as TV got good. So they’ve had 60 years to get this straight but they never bothered and now the time has come to panic.

Well fishhead0103666 fishhead0103666 we had another protest today, this time it was the "freedom rally" to protest against the latest stage 4 lockdown. 400 people were meant to congregate out the front of the parliament building but only 2 turned up. The police told them to put there masks on and go home. 1 did , the other didn't and was arrested. Nothing brutal but looked like they were very firm and would have given
him a kicking if he tried to resist. He was yelling about forced vaccines and bill gates as they put him in the back of the van!
