The decision on if we'll be moving from a level 4 lockdown to level 3 is supposed to be made today. I think there's a 50/50 chance.

When we move to level 3, retail businesses will be allowed to start operating, but will not be allowed to let customers into the store, curbside pickup only. We'll be allowed to drive again, takeaways can start operating.
Schools up to year 10 will start operating, which I think is a mistake, throwing a bunch of kids together who are useless at being hygenic at the best of times so that they can take the plague back home?

Starting my coursework again online tomorrow. Can't do any chemistry or biology practicals, it is what it is...

The person that is wanting to allow kids to go back to school is stupid. Those little monsters will spread it like wild fire.

Yeah, we're well on the way to completely wiping it out. Maybe we've done enough that it won't result in a significant surge, but I'm skeptical.

Well I'm no car guy but I like it, it reminds me of the car Gatsby drove in "The Great Gatsby"

Thanks. The styling is modeled on one of the world's most recognized stylish cars ever.

But this represents a tiny British car. Gatsby drove a huge supercharged Auburn about the size of a 3/4 ton truck, but with a light body.
It was a monster of a car by any standard. On Jay Leno's Garage, he drives both a SS, and an Auburn. Th difference is really obvious when you put a person by the car.

We haven't been able to have family birthday parties. Usually there's 15~20 here on any birthday.
I have twin grandkids turning 18 tomorrow. No party and they will miss HS graduation but go to college somehow.

I sent them a video and some Paypal $.

I turned 65 this month, and the car was a present to myself.
No party for me otherwise. The wife and I went for a little picnic.

They just started winter water pumping from a different source for my city, now we have water with a TDS of 60 but pH of 8.8+ due to addition of lime. Pretty weird. Small, frequent changes now as well.

Our TDS is only 20~30 but pH is 8.4~8.8

Anyhow, high pH was one reason I raise cichlids and brackish fish. Angelfish can't live well in our water. The plecos survive, but it's not good, so I add leaves or Kent Black Water Expert.

Our water is pH 8.2, hard, and no issue with plecos, including wild caught. Lost count how many species I have seen successfully kept, and bred, in our tap water. Ditto to angelfish.

No ease on Govt sanctions here, Covid still a major concern, especially in the buildings where I work.

Our general hardness is not great. I am adding calcium In the form of crushed oyster shell.

It was you that recommended I do that and I’m forgetting these things in my old age.

Or maybe it’s too many gasoline fumes. I bought this old show car, and it’s like one of those Panzer tanks that leaks fuel everywhere. I had to strip the entire fuel system down and it’s driving me nuts from the smell. It’s one of those things that happen when you only put 400 miles on a car in 30 years.
