How High Is Your Energy Bill?

Hey everyone. I just wanted to know how much your monthly energy bill is every month? I live in Northern California and my energy bill has been creeping up. I just paid last months bill and it was about $255.00:WHOA: I looked at the breakdown of the bill and saw that $15.00 was for gas and $240.00 went to electricity.:WHOA: I can't wait for my water bill to come. The water bill comes every couple of months so I'm wondering if the cost of water has gone up? I hope I get the water bill before my wife sees it. I'll just pay it myself:grinno: The Doctor
 
Roughly the same electric bill. However, I live on the East coast, so water is free. Seven college kids in 2/3 of a rented house. Not bad, eh? Considering I have six tanks totalling 134 gal...
 
During extreme hot/cold times of the year about $170-$180. In the easier months $130-$150. That's total utilities (gas, elec, water). However there's word that increases are coming.
 
well, my electricity bills have actually been coming down since March.. my March 08 bill was $468. April and May it was down to $350 and $328. June, July and August it has been $225 - $238.

i expect the electricity bill to go down. my son is moving out soon and he only spends about every other day here anyway now. from now on it's just me, the aquariums and the fridge and freezers.. i'm hoping it comes down below $200 after my son moves out completely.
 
Seeing others with $200.00 or more energy bills makes me feel a little better. I envy the ones that have lower bills. With the ones that are higher then mine, can you give me your number so you can talk to my wife and tell her about your bill?:ROFL:
 
sure, no problem.. my bill got lower when my hubby was asked to move out and his damned stereo with him.
