How "I" Keep My Water Clean...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Failed as a fishkeeper??? his fish are awesome and seem to be very healthy, id say he is a very successful fishkeeper

he said he wont do that large of a water change again :chillpill:

This was my point but people continue to post the same remarks over and over, calling the guy a troll yet continue to bump and post on his thread.

... His fish look sweet. I was about to air my fish out till I saw it was an accident. Obviously hes doing something right, his fish are beautiful and perfectly proportioned. Either way using straight tap water isn't all that bad especially people who use well water. However this is not the case for me, and there is barely any water in the chlorine that comes out of my tap.

i love how all the fish are on their side in video 2 and the ray is just kickin it

Alright vid 3 was a bit much, but it wouldn't be that bad on occasion if you took out the sharp rocks.. the arowana flopping around hitting them was bad..

This thread would be so much better with the videos embedded. Why not embed the videos, just as easy as posting a link?

What's the big deal about clicking on the youtube links?

Large water changes are great but the few inches needed here to keep the fish upright and not thrashing around on rocks and each other (potentially stressing them out) isn't going to make a difference in your water quality if you keep your wc schedule weekly and large.

I'm more curious what you mean by this in the comments of the third video?... "I never cycle my tanks." Are you saying you don't cycle new setups before adding live fish??? If that is what your saying, no matter how large your once a week water change is in a newly setup tank ,without developed bb, the fish are certainly still going to feel the effects of ammonia and nitrite spikes the 6 days in between your large weekly wc until the nitrogen cycle completes itself until the nitrogen cycle completes itself.

Not really a big deal, though to view all the vids in your post, you have to open an additional 8 windows.

Much easier just to enjoy without opening another page, don't ya think?

Sorry Brian, I just assumed that people would watch 1 vid, close the vid, then open the next one, etc.
No need to open 8 additional windows all at once. :)

No you don't. What sucks is you have to click on the 8 links to even see if you want to view them or not. When embedded you can easily pass on any if one does not look like it is worth viewing.
