Seriously. Just study it...

I have a friend near my farm that has hand raised one years ago. It speaks better than a parrot, it flies free.

When he goes to the nearby village the crow flies over him and waits on a roof untill he takes care of business and then returns back over with him, flying over his car.

that's freakin awesome. probably picked the crow up while it was still an egg? so when it hatched, the crow saw your friend and imprinting occurred, making the crow believe that your friend was its mother.

with regards to imprinting, does that also work for fish? my bro said that if an oscar hatched and saw your hand, and you raised up till it was 6-8 inches, then if you put your hand in the aquarium, the oscar will rub itself on your hand. anyone know of this happening to them or their friends with a pet fish?

My 2 feet silver aro rubs itself in my hnd. But no way have fish the same intelligence as some birds.

Crows are the easiest to work with. You just have to get them as babies.

You have several serious breeders in the states, of both black and african ( black and white ) crows. They create a bigger bond with you than parrots.

I don't know about other states, but it's illegal to own them in Calif., being wild birds.
A guy here rescued a fallen baby & hand raised it, they were extremely attached to each other. DF&G somehow found out after a few years. they came & took the bird away. the guy was upset, crying like crazy "He's my FRIEND!!........"
they didn't care, even though the bird would've been dead if he hadn't raised it.

I can't recall if it was a crow or raven, though.
