nice! hmm what type of garlic? garlic is actually extremely good for fish.. i use it for my reef tank fish... helps strenghten there immune system and fight parasite such as iche... i cant use copper meds in a reef tank, it kills inverts. do you think that is what made them eat the shrimp? i almost had one of my little guys take a pellet today.. he was holidng onto it for so long trying to swallow it and then spit it out.. ill have my guys on pellets by next week

I have had good results with garlic. The trick is getting the fish to take the food. Once they taste the garlic they don't spit it out. At least in my experience. I will never know if it was the garlic or the fact that they were extremely hungry. In either case, I feel lucky that they are on frozen. Now all 4 of them have their fat little bellies showing again.

It is some garlic that I bought at the local nursery. I planted it with some worm castings from my worm bin. I don't know exactly what kind but it is probably just generic garlic.
