Yah, they were insured and will get refunded. Its just sad that the little rays had to pay the ultimate price for a human error.:(
I spoke with the seller and hope to get a refund when he gets the check from DHL.

OUCH!!

Ive had good experience with DHL though.

How much were the fish insured for? I hope alot more then you paid cause finding another pair is practically impossible!!

Well I spoke to Brad (stingrayguy) and we found out that the rays never even left IL. :irked:

Also when we spoke, I asked for a refund since with it being the holiday season I really don't want to take another chance with 2 more rare rays.

I'll keep you all updated on how everything works out.

Dhl were i am, got broken into during the xmas holiday a year or 2 ago and had over 150k worth of products stolen from them. This is a few miles from my house. the thieves got away with jewelery/prescriptions/presents, and whatever else thet wanted when they were ransacked. eventually the people were busted in Connecticut spending all there money they got from selling the goods, and were hoarded up in a hotel using heroin. Good thing these guys gotbusted, but the point of this story is DHL is clueless, they didint know they were robbed until everyone went back to work after the holidays. They had no alarm, and no idea what happened until roughly 72 hours later!
