This is so pointless.

Buy the fish or get a picture so that everyone can all stop guessing! Personally, i I would wager that 12" is an exaggeration for a start.

Maybe, But 10" at the least.

So as per before, a picture to identify or we're just guessing.

On youtube there is a video of the scombs at the Shedd aquarium. They weren't labeled in the video info, but they did shoot some video of them. Definitely over a foot. I'd say 12-15 inches. I completely forgot where I came across the video though. Largest scombs I have ever seen.

Otherone I don't think this kid will ever get. I think we should just force his parents to adopt him to me and I will let him live in the box from my new refrigerator. Don't worry though I will put a fan in there so he gets lots of fresh air. And I will make sure I feed him at least every few days. Do you think $1 cheese burgers from McDonalds would be a good staple for him?

Great analogy - Are you gonna remove 50% of the Urine and Ammonia byproducts weekly as well as vacuum up his poop? A big industrial fan will greatly help in the reduction of harmful gases. Oh yeah and don't forget McD's french fries - it would be like terrestrial fats to a fish - he'll get bigger faster as his body will not be able to break down the fats contianed in the grease. Might die of conjustive heart failure at an extremely early age but he'll be huge!

I here ya April - he's 14 with great enthusiam and ambition - gotta pound in the basics of fish keeping so in the future he might just be able to sustain an 1800 gal. pond

I could go off on you're sorry ass so bad right now but I don't think I need any more infractions. :grinno:

Your handling things just fine - no need to get upset and type something stupid. The cool thing about fish keeping is their is always something new and different to learn - after 2 decades I know I still am.

I'm refering to the fish forsale, not the Shedd stock; i've seen those.
