How long do rays live

Unfortunately i have killed a few myself . I don't know what that makes me but it tares you apart when they die. As i have said in the past it has been ten years since i last kept rays and the knowledge i have gained off this site and the books you have recommended have made me 100 times more informed than i ever was. I can only hope to keep rays 20 years and who knows maybe breed some!

We kill them off long before they can die of old age.

It happens. I have lost 5 motoro pups, one large pair of scobina, one large female histrix and a large female leopoldi in the last two years (9 in total).

I don't know that I have the stomach to go back any further.
