15-20 Minutes sitting in the bag, then 20-30 Minutes of slowly adding aquarium water... then put them in without the lights on for an hour, then turn the lights back on

just realized theres a few different ways.oh well.lol

bags from a lfs
moving fish from one tank to the next with a bucket
moving fish inside to out,or opposite
heated to non heated

i picked 15-30,i do about 30 min
"if the temps are about the same."
if the temps are different then i do it till the temps are close,by then its past a half hour for me.

well for feeders i like to just toss them in the shock of the new water makes for and interesting feeding time
for fish i want to live i slow drip for about 30 then net them into the tank

15, to let the temps even out a bit.

i drip acclimate especially for sensitive fish until the ph in the container is the same as the ph in the tank. it can take hours depending on how different they are.

Most of my LFS are really close to my house, so I rarely float more than 15 to 20.

Sometimes (if it's close enough) I just pour the fish into the tank.
