How Long Have You Had Your P's?

I had a solitary nat for a long time. Grade school through early high school.

Now I keep a group of four (they culled themselves from 6) and seem to be doing well together. Have had this group for over a year now.

Why under gravel filters in all of your piranha tanks?

They work so well with the P's why change it.

I do have canister filters on other tanks, actually about 50 of them (Fluval fx5, Marineland 560, Tetra pond, Reaction 4, Bluebag etc) which take a lot of my and my daughter's (comes over to give me a hand every couple of weeks) time cleaning and repairing.

It is actually not my oldest fish though.

I have a Peckolita vittata that I still own that I bought january 25th 1980. It is called a clown pleco and because it has lived so long with me I have never bought another one in case I mixed them up and did not know which one had died should one. It is also why I never bought a second rhom.

Just air diffusers and the water changes. It moves between 450 and 680 litre tanks when I do complete tear downs every 2 to 3 years.
