i would go soon with a new tank

Then you should be ok (and safe) with a slight temp increase and a small amount of salt. Chalk that one up as a lesson learned :D.

Lesson totally learned!!! If they are going to get it how long till I would see spots on them. Like I said even tonight I don't see anything on any of them yet. Do you think 12 tablespoons of salt is too much or not enough or just right? I have the temp at about 82 right now.

Also, just wanted to give a shout out to all of you on here. You guys are great. It's also nice that you guys don't rip people a new one for making mistakes.

I'd add an airstone or bubble wands with an adequeate pump, raise the temp to at least 86 and keep it there for two weeks. They will look better after maybe 5-6 days but do not turn the temp down then because ick can stay in your tank after it falls off of your fish for almost another 8-9 days in my experience. What size tank is it? 12 tablespoons might be too much or too little you want to put 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt per 10 gallons, some people even do per 5 gallons I have succesfully done it with just using one tablespoon per 10 gallon method. Good luck.

I have 4 airstones and run 2 AC 110's. It is a 90 gallon.

Did you raise the temp to 82, or is that what it normally runs? You only want to increase temp a couple degrees at a time (basically per day). I wouldn't add any more than 1 ts per 10, as you have the loaches in your tank.

No, I usually keep it at 78. I just went and looked it is only 80. So should I up it another notch? Well I put 12 tablespoons of salt in so just a tiny bit over 1 per 10. Also, should I do my regular gravel vacs and water changes? Everybody seems happy still soooo....

clowns get huge i believe almost 2 1/2 feet i would either get rid of them when they grow out and stick with the 200 or look into something to accomdate them
