I would honestly say hold off on buying more for the moment. IMO I would rather have a larger tank to put them all in even if it's only for 2 years. Most of them if not all are going to grow a considerable amount. I would wait to add some maybe even like stated above trade or sell some. It seems like it's going to happen right now but you really don't know what will happen in 2 years so I would stick with the ones you have right now in a 4x2 (if you can find a cheap 6x2 or something like that that would be even better) until you have the larger tank ready to put the fish in or extremely close. Either way I'd say hold off for now and put them in a 4x2
you must keep in mind though your more favorite ones will grow as well. What will you do with them if they out grow you? I think the thing everyone is trying to say is you can't honestly say where you will be in 2 years so you need to treat it as if you don't know if you will be gettin a larger tank. Sure you are planning on it, but as young as you are there may be other things you could put that money towards. I know I was in the same boat as you a couple years ago. I had about 25 bichirs in a 75g tank (6-7 were 10"+), because set-back after set-back my larger tank kept either being delayed delivery or was needing to be fixed. Before you know it I'm 6 months from when I was supposed to get my tank and I still didn't have it. Take any of our advice or not, if I was in your boat I would be happy with what I have for now and wait to get more until I am getting the bigger tank in the immediate future.Well I mean (if) they do outgrow me b4 I can get the huge tank I could always just sell my less favorite ones and get some more smaller sized ones ...could I not
