As long as I am spending someone else's money, I would put 100 wild heckels, 1000 cardinal tetras, 5 black ghost knifefish, an arrowana or 2, 30 altums, a couple rays... have I gone too far?
nope sounds awsome! that would look great!

you dont know much do you? discus lays on their sides in the wild as a frm of defensive (not sure if i remember that righ correct me if im wrong) but thats normal and all the pro do it. trust us with how much these fish are worth we wouldnt be dumb enough to do anything that risks their healthwow did this site make me mad!!!, why the hell do they have the discus laying flat in a bucket with an inch of water!!! i dont care what their reason is but thats just plain cruel

how can you insult my knowledge because of a single comment?, thats downright rude. i searched online but could not find any proof that they lay flat to avoid predators but i could be wrong and also this is clearly not the case here. they are being forced to lay flat in an inch of water in a small tiny bucket not choosing to lay flat from a predator. im not trying to be closed minded or to disagree for the sake of disagreeing but i do think this is cruel no matter what the reason is.
the ways you blasted the pic simply cause its what it is suppose to be handle seems like you arent very knowledgeable. not trying to be rude but for you to simply attack the pic and call it cruel without knowing the reason is ignorant (again not trying to be rude). the truth is this. we do it for a reason these fish are expensive the sellers are after profit so if it was cruel and could harm the discus in anyway they wouldnt do it, if you have discus you would know they lay on their side when stress/freak. EVERYTIME i move my discus they ALWAYS lay on their side for awhile even my oscars does this
i took it that you were saying i am not knowledgable with fish not just discus. but not knowing does not make me ignorant {hear me out on this lol}, i have never dealt with discus you are right about that; i have never heard of it being done like this before with ANY fish so naturally it made me upset, like what would you do if someone had an arowanna on its side in a bucket with an inch of water? {yes i know 2 completely different fish but let's assume that arrowannas do this naturally aswell}. maybe i should have asked about it first before i did blast it your right about that. im not an idiot who's too proud to thank someone when they teach them something new so im going to thank you for clearing it up for me because after all i came on this site to learn about new fishNever mentioned to insult you. Some time it sounds like it but by all mean I'm not. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. I apologies if it sounded as if I called you stupid.alright i can see your point nowi took it that you were saying i am not knowledgable with fish not just discus. but not knowing does not make me ignorant {hear me out on this lol}, i have never dealt with discus you are right about that; i have never heard of it being done like this before with ANY fish so naturally it made me upset, like what would you do if someone had an arowanna on its side in a bucket with an inch of water? {yes i know 2 completely different fish but let's assume that arrowannas do this naturally aswell}. maybe i should have asked about it first before i did blast it your right about that. im not an idiot who's too proud to thank someone when they teach them something new so im going to thank you for clearing it up for me because after all i came on this site to learn about new fish
