How many does it take to be an offical hoarder?

And I got a dilemma. The LFS got two nice 2" endli's, $64 each, or two 2" lapra's, $73 each. I don't have any lap's, but I like endli's very much. I should go for the lap's, but...i don't know. Buy all four? How do I explaind for that back home?

A hoarder depends on where you are getting them from. If you snatch up every nice bichir that shows up at your LFS, then yes, you are a hoarder LOL

I am on my way with 2 now and hopefully when I visit the lfs another one will be added to my list.

I really want some more. Congicus, Lapradei, Weeksii, and Endlicheri are all out there waiting for me.

I think you count as a hoarder as soon as you buy the fish just because it is either A) another bichir or B) a purchase made just to cross the fish off a "list" you may have in your possession.

As soon as you're buying to display and they become objects, not pets or friends, you're hoarding. IMHO at least.

when you got or at least are trying to get every available species (sen, del, etc.) and every available variant (SB, platinum, etc... your a hoarder.

When you move on to getting the NOT SO AVAILABLE species (bichir bichir, ansorgii, teg, etc.) or at least the ones unavailable at your location, your probably an accomplished hoarder.

When you have every bichir there is... you better start a new religion coz a lot of people are gonna worship you.
and a lot of people on this forum are on their way there.
