I know its ok to feed oscars feeder fish once in a while so how many should i feed my 7" o a week?

personally,id feed it whenever i wanted ,but thats just cause i like to see them chase the little fish around.i feed mine guppies cause they cant eat goldfish yet.i usually get 100 of those a week.its your decision

fish are not very good for oscars, as in the wild they eat primarily crustaceans and mollusks, and fish make up only like 20-15% of their natural diet, plus a lot of feeders are junk food, and aren't good for the health of your oscar. i'd feed him maybe 1-2 a week, with a main diet of live ghost shrimp or freeze dried krill and cichlid sticks.

give him a couple of guppies a week, the goldfish are very bad for them, and also often give them disease. Feeders are not necessary and often your better without giving him any feeders. If you simply want to watch it, give him 4-5 guppy fooders a month, and be sure you know they dont have disease

I justg give him like 5 roses a week. And keep him on pellets, shrimp, blooworms, etc

cut back to one a week, or don't feed him any. they are not worth the risk of disease to your oscar.

As everyone has said, your oscar will most likely get sick. You shouldnt give him any per week. "once in a while" means every month or two buy some. But not rosies or goldfish, and the guppies are risky too. When I had an oscar I used to buy Cardinal tetras.
