How many feeders per week?

I'd cut that out if you love your fish, man. I don't think you'd want to feed your kids 30 candy bars a week.

How many Oscars have YOU raised to Maturity I feed FEEDER GOLDFISH. My Oscar is Just Over 5 Years Old.. Doesn't mean much..

Feeding Goldfish or feeders period is a very delicate subject.. But guess what ... Five more years should my O decide to live that long would be the expected Life span of MOST Oscars in Aquaria... Sometimes I gut load My feeders with Flake and somtimes brine and sometimes nothing Main diet consists of HBH super soft pellets Both (spirulina and krill) and Flakes, Frozen krill and,Frozen brine, Plus market shrimp.. But i feed also 3 times a week total for the most part.. And 3-4 times a month my fish eat Feeder GOLDFISH he also occasionally gets Ghost shrimp... And Lots of NIGHTCRAWLERS one of my favorite live feeding choices

Soon will be cons again too

Persoanally part of my green terrors and my oscars diet is rosies, i feed about 50 a week betweent ehm and keep them on this special forumla, its high in proten and it has veggies mixed

mad!!all of you are just bloody mad!! 50,30, hundreds...a week? you are all trying to kill your bloody fish no matter what you gut load with...unless gut loading for more then a week(ideally it t takes months) then the feeders might have nutrional value...once again my bloody 2cents.

The only 'feeders' any of my large cichlids get are culls from spawnings. I would not waste my time and money buying inferior food for my pets when quality prepared foods are cheaper and more nutritious. I work in a LFS and I get to see the state of goldfish and livebearers before quarantine (at least we do that!), I wouldn't let any of my pets anywhere near these fish if I wasn't sure of the source !!! Earthworms form the majority of 'live' food that my fish get, all other food is frozen shrimp and pellets/flake.

well,every big oscar that iv personally seen has been on a diet of goldfish since they were young so i think that im gonna stick with the traditional feeding methods,a mix of pellets and feeders
