How many fish did you lose this year?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All of my losses have been kuhli loachs. They have been very problematic for me to keep alive apparently.

My biggest loss( though not of this year) still remains Ginny my eye pleco...I wish she could have survived until I could have taken her back or found a new home. She was my favorite fish out of my long time then eight catfish set. When I see topics about blue eyed plecos I tend to skip now, just makes me sad.

Oh we think we are doing everything right and then boom it happens ..sorry!Thats why i have alot of tanks with old fashion gravel.. just afraid to disturb anyone..

These fish didnt have alot of choice...their old tank was a 70something odd gallon Pentagon. Mom and dad were re-aranging the living room and the tank just had to go for the new furniture to come in. And I dug out my 100G oceanic tank and setup for my BW fish...they would have had a great improvement if they kept their prickly little asses in that tub. I hate moving tanks, but sometimes there just isnt much choice but to do so. Im going to give my 150G a big over haul with my tax return and I dread that one already:irked:I forgot to mention a few, now that Ive given it some more thought. I lost a GSP a few weeks after I got that brackish tank going....I got it from walmart so its not a big suprise. And I lost a Chinese Hi-Fin shark, it never made it out of QT sadly enough. And we have a small ornamental pond outside...its probably about 100G or so. My dog got in there and caught out 3 fatass fantail golds and ate them:popcorn:

That is so true ..sometimes we have to do things not by choice.
