I have two Emperor 400's on my 125.
That's about 6.5x complete turnover.

That's intresting because that is prob what I'm going to do with my 90 to 115 gallon I'm gonna buy next year. Personally I'd like to avoid a canister filter entirely if at all possible. Unless Of course I can come to the conclusion that the maintenance won't be so bad as it was with my Fluval 404.

I know its prob for the best that I do get a canister filter in addition to one or two Emperor 400's, but If I feel it's enough for just one fish, so be it. I'll definitely research those Ehimes later on down the road when I get ready to purchase my new tank.

Just wondering tho, what do you have stocked in your tank and what are your water changes like? Since all you are running are your 2 E400's, I had to ask. Thx.

I like ACs and emps/penquins. I use AC sponges in my emps/penquines though. Why use the ****ty cartridge lmao?

I do the same thing lol.

In fact my whisper 60 is also filled with similiar sponges.

2 Emperor 400's and a 300 g.p.h power head on my 8 watt UV = 1,100 g.p.h on a 40 gallon:headbang2

20x's turnover with the Emps.
27.5x's turnover with everything.:screwy:

Reason: plan on upgrading real soon.:)

roughly total about 3,700g an hour, if you count fitering....an hour?(1000g on my 75 alone...) i use pond filters.....

800 gph for my 20 gallon quarantine tank i have my oscar in

400 GPH on a 30 gallon
280GPH on a 10 gallon
800GPH on a 100 gallon
800GPH on a 125 with 2 power heads
and 400GPH on a 60 gallon with 1 power head

Whisper 60, Emperor 400, AC 402 PH w/quickfilter= 970gph for a 55 gallon.

And I"m thinking of adding more lol maybe an AC 110/500 and use my Whisper 60 as back-up.

Whoa, this was posted in Sept 2006!! I got my AC 110/500 on my 55g that same month of this year heheh. So now on my 55g is an AquaClear 110 and a E400. So i'm now at about 20x flow rate. Approximately 1170g per hour.

My 29g, that i did not a year ago, also has alot of filtration with my Whisper 60 and an E280. So both have a 20x flow rate. Approximately 610g per hour on this tank.
