How many here have eaten their red tailcat or another fish?

On a German forum somebody ate his TSN. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Lol, do you think in the wild they only eat tasty stuff?
What exactly do you think fishery-raised trout, carp etc. eat?

Fishery trout do taste like crap, and I would never eat carp. Hell I don't even eat freshwater fish at all besides an occasional tilapia filet.

Well, sometimes pets get euthanized when they become unmanageably large, or released into local waters. This is more respectable than those options, although the water treatments are probably not the best thing to consume.

Well just to chime in here.....i always say each to their own. But one major problem with this is......your constant cycle of buy as fry, to raise and fry. Only has one major draw back, i think. Placing a FALSE demand on RTC at your LFS. And like you said in your opening statement...what else can you do with a 30"RTC? Unlike you, most novice people who buy them, as cute little fishies. Do silly things that end up making it hard on those who enjoy them...swimming!
But enjoy brotha!

Here here brotha! There is nothing from freshwater that could ever taste as good as fresh caught sheephead, calico bass, yellowtail, or rockfish.:D

I would have a hard time eating My own fish but I have put down a few fish that were near death. If you are to continue this I would only treat with Salt and Limit Chem treatment as much as possible. I would like to see some photos of Cook RTC and recipes:popcorn:
