How many here have eaten their red tailcat or another fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think not. it would offend to,many, poeple. i'm really shoked about how many people have an issue with eating a fish.that's been raised. tell you way tho. i bet they arnt asian!

i wounder how many people are hypocrites and still eat fish? just cause they don't know how its been raised. kinda intersting me being called a farmer and not a hobbiest. guess people don't know what a hobby is. if youve ever grown a tomato plant your a farmer then?

and being called a serial killer? that's just insane. that guy who left that better not east ANY meat. and should live in fear cause of how many, people kill animals so he can stuff his face with a burger weekly.,

the world would be a,better place if hobbiests would be the only people raseing animals for food.

me personally. i love having fish. i don't LOVE eating fish but I'll try everything. BESIDES pinchy would want it this way

Did you google up "house wives forum" yet? Awesome receipes in there.

the serial killer statement cracked me up. My grandparents have a farm as well, with goose, chickens, rabbits and so on. Almost all feed out of our hands. That doesn't change the fact, that they end up in my belly.

I just purchased some catfish today and ins guna try this Sunday. I'm not a huge ginger person but it sounds tasty

So this recipe was great. But we just deep fried some in corn meal batter. Wayyy better. Had some wild caught long nose gar to go along. Good times. The gar tastes like alligator and has the same texture as chicken

I have several big cats and they are not going to be on the menu any time soon. In fact its the opposite, I catch fish to feed them! I can't remember where I heard this but I believe that many of the people who live in south america won't eat a red tail catfish because it has black flesh. Also, there are no wild gar in california(or in any surrounding states) plus it is not sold online as it is considered a trash fish. Unless you drove to Texas over the weekend, Its a long shot as to how you got a hold of it. I'm not saying you're a troll but its a little suspicious.

Fish I have eaten already: Sashimi of Nishikigoi. For improvements to sweeter taste also firmer texture, recommend feeding whole foods for diet NOT pellets. Plenty of oysters, shrimp, mussels, crayfish, pumpkin, sweet potato, cavolo nero, cilantro roots, garlic, sprouted wild rice, malossol golden ossetra caviar, malossol salmon roe, sea urchin roe, wakame, kelp, etc.

Fish recipes wanting to try in future: MBU Sashimi, Crispy Neon Tetras With Chilli Salt, FW Stingray's Fin Soup (am thinking can cook the same way like Shark's Fin Soup!), WAL Baked With Herbs In Crusted Cocoon, RTC Chankonabe, Grilled Fire Eel Unagi With Sweet Soy Sauce Glaze and Umbee Fish Ball Satay Sticks.

Ahh you are correct about the gar. We are on vacation in in southwest Michigan where my in laws live. My bro in law took me bow fishing. They have long and short nose gar. But you can legally only shoot longnose. I couldn't hit a baby whale underwater if I saw it but he is really good
