I'd say only one Jardini unless you raise them up together from fry size. But i keep mine with 2 frontosa's and a colony of bristlenose and it's fine and its around 40cm. Where in Japan is that?!!! That's awesome!
Not sure on where in Japan.

JB, I suggest you do a search but I can understand being lazy. I personally have three jardini's, 1 silver, and one black arowana in my tank. All this talk about jardini's being super aggressive is actually pretty confusing. Either A) there is prozac in the tap water B) these other people have NO freaking idea what they are talking about.

Please do not promote your opinion if you have no personal experience, thank god I did not listen to you guys.

To be fair, if you live in a large city that has to recycle its water, there actually is a lot of prozac in it.

That's your best response?

Have you ever owned multiple arowanas or was it hearsay?

I've done 2 Jardinis with other Aros for few months, no problem but I sold them before anything happened. I don't think your tank would have been successful without a Silver and Black Aro in there(I could be wrong). I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about just Jardini as the arowanas in the tank. :) Not trying to start arguement, just stating my opinion.

It's cool, Hao, wasn't really referring to you since I know you keep some monsters. I'll be completely honest in saying that EVERYONE told me not to put all these arowana together. How they will fight and I will wake up with a tank of dead fish blah blah BLah. Me being me, said F*$# it and lets try, so I added one by one, and nothing happened.

The meanest fish in my tank is a 4" NTT, this is suppose to be the hippy of all datnoids, go freaking figure.

only time will tell! thanks BlackOPs i would always like to know if jardinis could be kept with other aros or tank mates.

I had a jardini since he was about 7cm in a tank with silver sharks, clown loaches, catfish and a few cichlids, he grew to about over 45cm and never once attacked another fish. I guess all depends on size of tank, the individual fish (some more aggressive then others) and at what size the jardini is when you get him, maybe
