Provided you lived somewhere that's 80F year round. I run dehumidifiers in my hatchery where the building is heated instead of individual tanks. Opening windows during winter is like dropping a full wallet in the river.

I was actually thinking of running a humidifier because the air is so dry in the winter. It would help slow down evaporation in the tanks. Now that I think of it maybe I should check the one that is on my furnace.
Us Canadians do have a slightly different idea of what constitutes warm. When you live in a country where the temps can go from -30 to +100 degrees anything over 60 is warm.
