Would opening a window help

Provided you lived somewhere that's 80F year round. I run dehumidifiers in my hatchery where the building is heated instead of individual tanks. Opening windows during winter is like dropping a full wallet in the river.

It is pretty hot here most of the year, It is only cold about 2 months of the year. I was just hoping for now opening my windows is helping the mold from building

Funny, I never considered Canada to be a tropical region.

I think that Canadians have a slightly different idea of what constitutes "hot" weather. :)

I live several hundred miles South of Cristoph, and it's only hot 2 months out of the year, in my opinion.

Of course I don't run a dehumidifier on days I can open a window.

I was actually thinking of running a humidifier because the air is so dry in the winter. It would help slow down evaporation in the tanks. Now that I think of it maybe I should check the one that is on my furnace.
Us Canadians do have a slightly different idea of what constitutes warm. When you live in a country where the temps can go from -30 to +100 degrees anything over 60 is warm.
