they married when they were like 18 and 20, and it just didnt work out with them living in my dad's parent's house, so they divorced. both are remarried now and ive got a stepbrother on my moms side and 2 stepsisters on my dads side. everyone's happy.

It's always the kid's fault.....LOL

As for me....eh. My rents are still together, but I would wish they would just get a divorce. The daily arguing when I was still living at home was so depressing. I'm so glad I got out of the house.....

How long did it last? They are going on about 10 to 15 years of constant screaming at each other....

Oh. Yea, there's screaming. Lots of it.

How can I put this.....My father was one who believed in force rather then persuasion. He "kept my mom in line" for the first 5 to 10 years of the marriage. Then mom started standing up for herself.

Eh. There are a lot of details that I'm not going to get into on a public board. I'm just glad I'm out of there in one piece.

The most important thing is that all of you survived and grew up and now even forgive and understand.. life is not perfect.. you have to make the most out of the hand you are dealt.. and the way i see it.. is most of you have..

This is a very important thing to learn.
yes to rise above it... and not blame yourself.. and do not carry the heavy baggage and burden of others.. that you had no part in creating..
