When I first got into Koi, I wanted to name everyone after Harry Potter characters. yeah... lame I know.

So we have Frank and Paul (my 2 comets)
Stroke- The fish has a crooked mouth
Ed- Bent tail, and one eye

Then we have Sir Plec, who is my pleco.

That's it. lol.

I had a puffer named fatty and a pbass named pretty girl but besides that I have Big IT little IT(same with NTT's), NGT, mean AT, pu**y AT and so on.
My girlfriend named them.

I don't. My youngest daughter dose. She is usually with me when I get them and claims them all as her own. Funny thing is she never dose any of the work or covers any expenses. I think I am going need to have a talk with her about taking responsibility for "her" fish.

Depends. if their breeders they get a name or # or both.its hard to keep records without a name or #. Every cool fish deserves a name or #.IMO anyhow
