how many red tail barracudas in a 75?

zero, and not possible and no get a bigger tank. this site is called MFK for a reason
You could keep 3 or 4 in a 75....and they will be skittish.....and theres no way in hell your going to breed them in there.....so just forget about that idea all together
If you keep the water conditions good.....have acceptable tankmates and the tank isnt in a high traffic zone....i really think pancakes might be pushing it alittle....it might not be teh best idea...i would at least go with a 90....but if done properly it can work....
ok, ok. you don't have to flip out like that. i read about a guy that kept 6 in a 75 for life. and a 90 gallon tank is just like 2 nches wider if that and a lot deeper, so a 90 is no different than a 75. have you ever kept them in a 75? you probably heard that they need a 125 or something an were then suckered into buying a massive tank for them. just because you have a red tail barracuda in your avatar doesn't mean that you know everything about them.YOULOOKLIKEAFISH;778903; said:

I dont think he was flipping out....he's just aginst the whole idea of keeping a fish like this in smaller tanks....And if you have never kept them before you will learn why quickly when u buy them.....These guys are ******* FAST....and they will shatter there skulls if they hit the glass when moving for prey.....or if u walk by the tank too fast...or even flick the lights on at a bad time.....and for many other reasons.....There afraid of just about anyhting and everything other than fish that fit in there mouth....and this is when they arn't stressed....its the natural characteristics of the Acestrorhynchus spieces...there very skittish....And this has to be delt with in order to fully enjoy these fish....So if u dont have them in a huge tank....you have to make sure pretty much evey other aspect is perfect to keep them happy and enjoy them....and i would say any tank under 150 gallons is going to stress them some what on its own.....ive kept them in smaller tanks than a 75 and they dont do too much other than sit there so i bought a 90 and im enjoying them alot more now...there still very skittish but good water quality and low traffic help alot and there active and sweet to watch eat!! im sure they would be fine in a 75 but you just have to make sure there not stressed by other ****....or u will end up with either a really ugly fish or a dead one....

I was just offering some hard hitting advice from someone who actually grew em out, sorry if you think i was flipping out, I just typed the same answer to this question so many times i keep it short and to the point. all happiness intented
